FlowTask overview and usage guide
This page explains what the application does, how to move through the main workflows, and how the workspace model fits together.
What FlowTask does
FlowTask keeps company work in one place. It combines workspaces, team chat, tasks, meetings, hiring, notifications, and reporting into a single account-based system.
Accounts and access
Users can sign in with email and password or Google sign-in when enabled. Existing users can join a workspace from an invitation link without creating a duplicate account.
Workspaces
A workspace is the main collaboration space for a company. Owners and admins manage members, invitations, and settings. Employees can join a workspace through an invite or by being added to one.
Team communication
Chat and notification streams help teams see updates as work changes. The dashboard pulls new activity in real time when the app is open.
Tasks and delivery
Admins can create and assign tasks. Employees can track their assigned work, update progress, and use the personal task tracker for day-level planning and reminders.
Hiring and meetings
The app also supports internal jobs, applications, and meeting scheduling so the same workspace can handle both operations and planning.
How to use it
1. Sign in
Use your email or username and password on the login page. If Google sign-in is enabled, you can use that as well.
2. Choose a workspace
After login, pick the active workspace from the switcher. The dashboard and side menu will follow that workspace context.
3. Accept invitations
Open an invite link from email or paste it into the browser. If you already have an account, sign in first and the app will attach you to the workspace.
4. Work the queue
Use tasks, chat, meetings, and notifications from the workspace dashboard. Personal daily tasks live in the task tracker section.
Quick links
Set a date and time in the task tracker. The browser can notify you when the time arrives while the app is open and permission is granted.
